SERIAN: Six community leaders have received new appointment certificates and re-appointment certificates for the Kedup constituency recently.
The ceremony for the presentation of these certificates was held at Sibauh Daud Hall, attended by Kedup assemblyman Martin Ben.
Jambeng Surak was appointed as the Penghulu of Kampung Batang Kedup, while John Taman was appointed as the village chief of Kampung Mantung Siaga.
Additionally, four other recipients received re-appointment certificates to continue their dedicated service within their respective villages.
In another update, Martin shared that the ongoing project aimed at enhancing internet services at SK Mubuk Berawan and SK Krangan has now entered its third phase.
The project, supported by a total funding of RM50 million, is expected to greatly benefit students in both schools.
Furthermore, he also announced a financial allocation of RM10,000 for both the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) and the Women’s Bureau in Kampung Mantung Silaga.
