New president vows to help MRSM Betong improve

BETONG: The new president of Muafakat MRSM Betong, Henry Jugah has pledged to help MRSM Betong improve its academic performance, co-curriculum as well as infrastructure development.

When contacted on Sunday, he said he welcomed suggestions from parents to improve the institute’s performance.   

“MRSM Betong is a place for our children to gain knowledge. Therefore, if there are any good suggestions or proposals, please forward them to the executive council of Muafakat MRSM Betong”.

Henry was elected to lead Muafakat MRSM Betong after getting 86 percent of the votes during a virtual general meeting which was attended by 190 parents.

He replaces Wilson Entebang who resigned after serving the body for 12 years.

Rahyanold Rehengia was elected as the vice president of the body.

The AGM also saw the election of five new committee members, namely Emparie Tom, Zuraidah, Edris Seman, Bujang Kawi and Bolkiah.
