MUKAH: The new Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kampung Tellian will not open in April this year as expected.

The school project main contractor, Bispuri Sdn Bhd said it had completed its work, however, there were a few more jobs which had not been completed by other contractors.

These included built-in furniture, loose furniture, signs inside the buildings and landscaping.

“Overall, our contract has been completed,” the contractor’s spokesman said.

Work on the new SK Kampung Tellian project began in 2018 and was completed last year.

The testing and commissioning of the new transformer for the new SK Kampung Tellian took place last Saturday.

Currently, the school’s population has been squatting at SK Mukah, about five kilometres from SK Kampung Tellian.
