MUKAH: A total of 10 participants attended the Brazil Goal Futsal Coaching Course – Pre-Community Level – held by the Futsal Nebulae Setiaraja (NAFAS) in collaboration with Vikings Futsal Sarawak and Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation recently.

According to the organising committee spokesperson, Abang Zairol Abang Abdul Wahab, the two-day course was to introduce and improve the knowledge and skills of coaches or players.

He said the main criteria for all teams to join the NAFAS League 2017 (third season) is that all coaches are required to have a basic coaching certificate.

The participants learned the basic theory of futsal sport and also involved themselves in practical sessions.

At the end of the course, the participants were given a written test to qualify for commissioning.

The course also invited an expert instructor, namely Awangku Zaifulizan Abdul Rahman (CEO Vikings Futsal Sarawak region).

“I hope that futsal will thrive here in Mukah. Many talented players will unearthed through the coaches knowledge,” said Abang Zairol.
The course was conducted by chairman of Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation, Royston Valentine.
