1189 graduate with tech skills

KUCHING: A total of 1189 students of the Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) graduated yesterday during its third graduation ceremony. The students graduated with technical skills in Oil & Gas, Construction, Electrical & Port, Textile & Hospitality and ICT Trades.

Apart from that, 12 students were also awarded with the Certificate of Excellence for various courses. Prior to the graduation ceremony, graduates bowed towards their parents and also the line of educators as a symbol of gratitude.

The graduation ceremony which was held at the Penview Convention Centre Demak (PCCD) in Demak Laut, was graced by the Chairman of CENTEXS and State Secretary, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani.

Also present were CENTEXS board members, Datu Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and Azmi Bujang as well as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CENTEXS, Syeed Mohd Hussein Wan Abdul Rahman. CENTEXS recorded the largest number of graduates this time around.
