KUCHING: The new Sarawak Museum complex costing RM308 million will be completed by the middle of next year.

Director of Sarawak Museum Department Ipoi Datan said that it will be opened to the public by the end of 2020.

“Once completed, it will be an iconic landmark in the city,” he said during the 8th General Conference of ASEMUS (Asia-Europe Museum Network) welcoming dinner at Plaza Merdeka Hotel here on Wednesday.

The construction on the project started in May 2015.
