20 companies receive CMIEA Company Feedback Report

KUCHING: 20 companies received their Sarawak Chief Minister’s Industry Excel lence Awards (CMIEA) Company Feedback Report, at Malaysian Productivity Corporat ion (MPC) Sarawak Territory, yesterday.

The presentation ceremony was graced by the President of Sarawak Business Federation (SBF), Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg, who is also a member of MPC’s Board of Director.

10 companies received the Golden Award, seven companies received the Silver Award while three companies received the Bronze Award.

“The 10 best practising companies who received the Golden Award will be documented as a reference source and benchmark to the other organizations. “The documentat ion wi l l start on December 7, 2017, and is expected to be completed by January next year.

The documentation also will be handed to the Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr.) Abang Johari Tun Openg,” said Karim in his speech. He added that, this year the CMIEA received an overwhelming response with 20 participations.

“The overwhelming response shows that the companies are very keen on making their company a success,” he added. The biennial award’s objective is to identify the best practice leading to a contribution of success to the companies in Sarawak as well as to the state economy. Also present is director of MPC Sarawak Territory, Tengku Azmi Tengku Majid.
