KUCHING: Nearly 200 people from various agencies and villages participated in a Community Policing Programme of ‘Go Green- Sarawak River Cleaning’ together with Director of Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) Commissioner of Police Dato Sri Zulkifli Abdullah at the Kuching Waterfront here, yesterday.

Among the agencies and villages taking part in the programme were Kuching Distr ict Police Headquarters (IPD Kuching), Sarawak Marine Police Region 5, Sarawak General Operations Force, Royal Malaysian Police Air Operation Force, Sarawak Rivers Board, Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) , Sarawak Natural Resources and Environmental Board (NREB), Waterfront Kuching Management, Sarawak Civil Defence Force, Sarawak Fire and Rescue Services Department (BOMBA), Kampung Gersik, Kamung Boyan, Kampung Pulo, Kampung Surabaya Hulu / Hilir and Kampung Semarang.

The programme was officiated at Director of Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA), Commissioner of Police Dato Sri Zulkifli Abdullah. The programme was hel d in collaboration with Kuching District Police Headquarters (IPD Kuching) and Sarawak Marine Police Region 5.
