KUCHING: 220 pupils from Rhema Kindergarten, Tabuan Desa here visited Kuching City South Council (MBKS) yesterday.

The purpose of their visit is to learn about the importance of Recyling, Reuse and Reduce (3Rs).

Mayor of Kuching City South Dato James Chan had a fun and fruitful interaction with the pupils on the importance in keeping the surrounding clean and beautiful and how can they do their parts in reducing unwanted waste.

He thanked Rhema Kindergarten for taking the initiative to bring the young pupils to this Environmental Programme to expose them to recycling aspects because they are now at the right age to have a simple and useful knowledge for life.

“Adding to it, it is also important to have them start young on recycling so that they will know how to properly take care of the place that they are living,” he said.
