250 packs of ‘Bubur Lambuk’ given away in Sri Aman

SRI AMAN: Some 250 packs of ‘bubur lambuk’ were given away to members of the public here.

Sri Aman District Police chief, DSP Othman Sulaiman graced the distribution of ‘Bubur Lambuk’ programme, held at Sri Aman District Police Headquarters.

The programme was organised by Sri Aman Police Family Association (Perkep).

Perkep chairwoman, Saniah Henry said the activity was one of their efforts to foster closer ties between the police force and the local community, which was in line with the theme of the 210th Police Day, ‘Polis dan Masyarakat, Berpisah Tiada’.

Earlier, the programme kicked off with the preparation and cooking the savoury porridge at 8.00am at Surau Darul Solihin IPD Sri Aman. This is followed by the distribution of the porridge to the public in the afternoon.
