KUCHING: Thirty people attended a research skills training workshop held by Sarawak Islamic Information Centre (SIIC) at Upper Barok, SIIC on August 2.
The workshop was conducted by Dato’ Profesor Emeritus Haji Abang Abdullah bin Abang Mohamad Alli, chairman of Advisory Board, World of Assembly Muslim Youth (WAMY).
Workshop participants were provided with a broad range of essential skills and knowledge to enhance their effectiveness as researcher or future researchers. The presenter also guides the participants on preparing and writing an effective research.
Emeritus Dato’ Profesor Haji Abang Abdullah bin Abang Mohamad Alli was appointed as one of SIIC’s research fellows early this year.
The appointments of fellows are to assist the Centre in different areas of expertise, especially in communicating and researching on Islamic knowledge in Sarawak.
