BINTULU: A four-wheel-drive (4WD) caught fire at Taman Summer Ville Villa here on Tuesday evening.
Bintulu Fire chief, eight personnel from Bintulu fire station led by PBKII Stephen Plen rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 6.55pm.
“The fire was doused by the owner of the 4WD before the firefighters arrive,” he said.
Di-Hatta said about 50 per cent of the vehicle was damaged by the fire.
“The firefighters did not extinguish the fire as it was already doused by the owner. No injury was reported,” he said, adding that the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
