KUCHING: The third series of Student Entrepreneurship Programme (1st Step) organised by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) at Matang Vocational College here on Tuesday was attended by some 500 students.

The programme incorporated the concept of seminar and activities aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among school students.

With the theme, Perniagaan Satu Kerjaya, many interesting activities conducted had benefitted to the students. Along the way, the students also had the opportunity to hear talks from entrepreneurs as well as motivational talks from SSM and others agencies.

The programme was held in collaboration with the Technical and Vocational division of the Ministry of Education.

A total of seven vocational colleges and three technical schools were identified for the 1st Step programme this year.

The first series was held at Gombak Vocational College while the second was held Sekolah Menengah Techic, Kuantan.
