SIBU: 700 members of Sarawak Dayak National Union (SDNU) and their families will take part in the SDNU Sibu Family Day 2017 at Permai Lake Garden here on August 12.
SDNU Sibu chairman Chambai Lindong said the event to be held from 7.30am to 5pm is to strengthen ties between the members and for them get to know each other better.
Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi will officiate at the family day.
Member’s children who excelled in 2016 UPSR, PT3, SPM and STPM will receive awards at the function. At the function, education incentives will also be given to members’ children who are pursuing their diploma, degree, masters or Phd.
