SIBU: 72 people took part in the food processing course and entrepreneurship roadshows in Sibu. The course was held at Lakis Hall here from September 20 to 23.
Speaking at the closing of the course, Sibu Deputy Resident, Wong Hee Sieng said that the aim of the course was to produce entrepreneurs with the vision of producing their own products and viable business opportunities.
“Besides that, the local communities and entrepreneurs were exposed to entrepreneurship by the agencies involved in entrepreneurship.
“The participants were also given face-to-face interviews and briefings which aimed to enhance their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills,” he explained.
