KUCHING: A total of 75 officers from the State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) received certificate of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding performance while discharging their duties.

Bukit Aman JSPT Director, SAC Dato’ Mahamad Akhir Darus who presented the certificates at the State Police Contingent Headquarters here yesterday said such recognition was needed as it would encourage all personnel to discharge their duties with full commitment.

He also reminded all JSPT personnel to continue to uplift the image of the police force and to uphold the people’s confidence.

“I would like to point out that integrity has always been a concern in any organisation as it involves not only the interest of the organisation you are working in, but also the people whom you are working with.

“Honesty is very important in our line of work. We do not want any personnel to be involved in any bribery and abuse of power cases and so on,” he said.
