KUCHING: A police report was lodged by Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) Sarawak yesterday on alleged payment of RM9.5 million from1MDB slush fund to Anwar’s prosecutor, Tan Sri Shafee Abdullah.
The police report was lodged by AMK deputy chief for Stampin Branch, Jeffery Mok Hui Chung at the Kuching District Police Headquarters’ One-Stop-Centre at Jalan Simpang Tiga here at 2.15pm.
He was accompanied by AMK Sarawak information chief, Saifunnizam Sam, and AMK Pusat’s exco member, Murni Hidayat Anuar.
The police report was made based on news portal report in the Sarawak Report on 31 May, 2017 entitled “Najib Paid Anwar’s Prosecutor RM9.5 Million From1MDB Slush Fund Why? Exclusive Report.”
In his police report, Jeffery urged the police to take immediate and serious action to invest the case.
