SRI AMAN: Sri Aman Civil Defence Force (APM) recently gave help to a male senior citizen facing an emergency situation in Sri Aman. The senior citizen who resided at house number 162, Kampung Hilir here in Sri Aman needed an urgent treatment at the Sri Aman Hospital.

“A senior male citizen from Kampung Hilir who sought help from APM Sri Aman is known as Wasli bin Pikok, aged 78,” disclosed Sri Aman APM Officer-incharge Captain (PA) Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim. Upon receiving a distress call from Yacob Wasli about his problem at 1.52 am, our side immediately despatched two personnel on duty to his residence. Siti pointed out the two officials on duty namely Sergeant (PA) Jacky Enus and Private Ibrahim Kipli arrived at the scene at 2am.

They found the victim was weak due to flu. After giving him early first aid, both the personnel on duty rushed the senior citizen to the Sri Aman Hospital at 2.05am using the department’s ambulance. “Both the officials on duty returned to the APM operation room at 2.15am after making sure the senior citizen receive retreatment from the hosipital,” she pointed out.
