SERIKIN: The 4th Regiment Royal Armored Corps (Rejimen Ke-4 Kor Armor Diraja) have successfully foiled efforts to smuggle out a stolen vehicle through the border.

Information was received at 7am yesteray morning whereby a stolen white Toyota Land Cruiser registered with the plate number QSL 9xxx was to be smuggled to Indonesia, which resulted in a patrol of the oil palm field in Serikin to track the vehicle.

After almost an hour of patrolling, the team found tyre tracks which they believed belong to a four-wheel drive and it led them straight to the location of the stolen vehicle at 8.45am.

Once they found the vehicle, it was discovered that the vehicle was abandoned and the suspects were believed to have fled the scene based on the footprints within the area.

The case has been reported to IPD Bau and the vehicle has also been handed over to them at around 11am.
