KUCHING: Kuching Special Branch head ASP Dinis Mancha bids farewell to the department after 24 years in the force.
Dinis, who started his career as a policeman in 1994, handed over his duties to his successor, DSP Jesselton Mac Jillian, who has been in the force for almost 17 years.
Previously, he served in Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Kuching, Sri Aman and Serian. He also served in the special branch.
The handing-over ceremony was held at the Kuching District police headquarters (IPD Kuching) in Jalan Simpang Tiga here yesterday.
Meanwhile, Kuching district police chief ACP Ng Ah Lek, who was present to witness the handing over of duties, thanked Dinis for his excellent service with the force.
“I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to ASP Dinis for all the excellent work he has done while with us here, and I enjoyed working with him,” he said.
