KUCHING: ASP Will Anak Jihem is the new Sekama Police Station head and Insp. Awang Ramzi Awang Junaidi is the new Sekama Public Order Officer. They both officially assumed duties during the handing over of duties ceremony held at Kuching Police District Headquarters (IPD), yesterday.
The handing over duty of Sekama Police Station head was between ASP Ahmad Naim Ayup and ASP Will Anak Jihem whereas the handing over duty of for Sekama Public Order Officer was between ASP Will Anak Jihem and Insp Awang Ramzi Awang Junaidi. Kuching deputy police chief Supt. Ismail Mahmood witnessed both the handing over of duties.
Meanwhile, ASP Ahmad Naim was promoted to Kuching chief of Motorcycle Patrol Unit.
“Both Will and Naim have done a good job. Throughout their leadership and job implementations, I have never received any negative report from their staff and officers, meaning they have performed very well,
“Congratulations to both of them; I hope the consistent cooperation from the officers continue to reduce the crime rate index,” said Ismail.
Will, prior his new position, was a former Sekama Public Order Officer for nine years and Naim was Sekama Police Station head for over seven years.
