Association to hold gathering, installation ceremony on 8 April

KAPIT: The Kapit Kwang Tung Association will hold ‘Membership Gathering and Office Bearers Installation Night’ at Meligai Hotel here on 8 April, 2017.

This was disclosed by the newly elected chairman of the association, Kong Sien Hua, after chairing the first committee meeting at the association’s conference room here on Monday evening.

“At the meeting, we have decided to hold ‘Membership Gathering and Office Bearers’ Installation Night’ on 8 April, 2017. Besides the installation of the new office bearers for the 2017-2018 session, we will also to present ‘angpow’ to all senior members aged 65 and above as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the association and the clan,” said Kong.

The swearing-in and installation of the committee members will be led by Kong himself.

The others in the new committee line-up are Kapitan Kong Cheak Hie (deputy chairman),  Yii Kau Chai (vice chairman), Kong Muk Hua (secretary),  Kong Siew Kim (assistant secretary), Kong Ah Ping (treasurer), Mok Ah San (assistant treasurer), Teo Gin Hua and Kong Siew Ing (in charge of general affairs), Long Tun Lai (public relationships), Kapitan Neo Kei Hoe (supervisor), Kong Siau Chi (welfare), Chia Weng Kwong (youth’s chief), Liew Mee Kiong (women’s chief) and ordinary committee members Mok Ee Kho, Sia Se Chai and Lee Kee Hoe.
