MIRI: A male student of a secondary school was injured after the motorcycle he was riding got involved in an accident with a car at Jalan Dato Permaisuri in Miri yesterday morning. The incident happened around 9am when the student was said to be on his way to school.
Sources said, the accident was believed to have occurred when the car suddenly turned into one junction causing to ram into the car as he could not avoid ramming the car due to such a sudden turn.
“As a result, the student was thrown over the road causing injuries on both hands,” said the source. He said the student was then rushed to Miri Hospital using an ambulance for further treatment.
