KUCHING : The Bujang Senang legends defeated SJK FC 4-1 in a friendly football match at the State Stadium on last Sunday. Striker Zulkanaen Poasa turned heroic for Lagenda Bujang Senang team after scoring a hat-trick in the 44th, 77th and 79th minutes.

Another goal was scored by former Malaysian striker Shamsurin Abdul Rahman in the 67th minute. SJN FC’s only goal was scored by former DBKU star, Juadjiman Wagino in the 75th minute. Interestingly, the last Sunday match witnessed the first eleven line-up of Lagenda Bujang Senang played for the first 30 minutes.

The team fielded Mazlan Wahid as goalkeeper while Zaidel Sakup, Dahlan Matusin, Ahmad Fairuz Yunus and Roslan Ismail played as defenders. Mohd Ali Sapiee, Nazri Yunos, Zapri Manai and Jalil Ramli were the midfielders. The upfront were spearheaded by two former Malaysian players, Affendi Julaihi and Shamsurin Abdul Rahman.

A thrilling performance was displayed by the former players of Bujang Senang during the first 30 minutes with accurate passes despite tough resistance by SJN FC.SJN FC were also lined up with great players like Razak Ismail, Ideris Untong and Juajiman Wagino. Also present during the match were Sarawak Football Association (FAS) president Dato Posa Majais and FAS secretary-general Razali Dolhan.

Meanwhile, the match was organised by One Head Bintulu Recreational Sports Club in collaboration with Mypham 25.
