BINTULU: A cargo lorry caught fire at Selangau-Tatau Road here on Tuesday.
Bintulu Fire chief, Di-Hatta Gobel said eight personnel with a fire engine from Tatau fire station, led by PBK Muhammad Jusoh, were dispatched to the scene after they received a distress call at 12.35pm.
He said the operations commander reported that upon arrival, the lorry had stopped at the roadside and the front side of the vehicle had caught fire.
“About 50 per cent of the front side of the cargo lorry was destroyed by the flames. No injury was reported,” he added.
