MUKAH: Christmas mood is already here in Mukah following the presence of carolling groups that have started visiting the residences of local Christians since last Dec 3.
These carolling visits, conducted by the Catholic Youths from Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Mukah, ended last night. They were divided into three groups, namely St Peter’s, St Paul’s and St. Francis’ carolling groups, each comprising about 25 members.
Throughout that one-week carolling they covered over 120 Christian houses throughout the district.
The carolling activity of going from house to house which is an indication that Christmas Day is just around the corner has been an annual event for the church for the last few decades.
