SHENZHEN, China: The visit by Sarawak media group to China continued on Monday at Shenzhen city, a major city in Guangdong Province, China, which forms part of the Pearl River Delta megalopolis north of Hong Kong.

It holds sub-provincial administrative status, with powers slightly less than a province. After arriving at the city from Guangzhou by bus for about three hours, the Sarawak media team visited the Windows of the World.

The Windows of the World is a theme park located in the western part of the city of Shenzhen in the People’s Republic of China.

It has about 130 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world squeezed into 48 hectares (118 acres). 

The 108-metre (354 ft) tall Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline and the sight of the Pyramids and the Taj Mahal all in proximity to each other are all part of the appeal of this theme park. The theme park is divided into six scenery areas namely, Europe region, Asia region, Oceania region, Africa region, America region and other regions.

There are many clone monuments built in the theme park such as Eiffel Tower, The Colosseum, The White House, Statue of Liberty and many others.

After done with the theme park, the group went to Luohu Commercial City, which is one of Shenzhen’s most well-known shopping locations due to its location, size and its diverse range of goods on offer. 

Located at the Luohu Border, directly across from the Shenzhen Railway Station, it features five floors packed with independent retailers selling a diverse mix of goods.
