LIMBANG: The district police chief, Superintendent Mohd Bukhori Saffai said he will not defend any of his men who are involved in drug activities in the district.
He said this following the arrest of three men including a policeman during an operation conducted at a store behind a house at Kampung Bunga Raya here, yesterday.
The 37-year-old suspect who has been serving in the police force since 2002, is married with three children and his two friends aged 30 and 23 from Kampung Bunga Raya and Seberang Kedai, respectively were found positive of methamphetamine, a type of drug.
Supt Mohd Bukhori said during the operation, all the suspects tried to escape but were over powered.Following a check at the scene, police found a purse containing two plastic packets believed to be ‘syabu’.
He said this to reporters during a press conference at IPD Limbang, yesterday.
