KUCHING : Mohd Faisal & Mohd Rathaluddin Hamdi from team War’s 15 Android 74, and Mohd Nazri Bolhi proved their prowess by being champions in the double and single category events respectively, in the recently held Riverside Head Hunters Darts Championship.
They all won over their opponents in straight set fights of 5-rounds match play. Champions team was War’s 15Android 74 : Mohd Faisal & Mohd Rathaluddin Hamdi. Runners-up in the team event goes to Akang Jumeng & Philip Marsat of JVC Darters AP, while the 3rd & 4th winners in the double category were Benjamin Benking & Zender Jegang of Sampun Darters, and Robbie Wong & Mohd Mustafa of 30 Gun.
In the single category event, the champion Mohd Nazri Bolhi gets RM250 cash and medal, the runner- up winner Eddieson Lim gets RM100 and medal, while the joint 3rd & 4th winners Roslani Salleh & Ahmad Tarmizi Hamdi each gets RM50 and medals.
Prizes for the champion in the double category were a cash prize of RM800, trophy and medals, while the runner-up gets RM400, trophy and medals.
For the joint 3rd & 4th winners, they receives RM200 each and medals, and RM80 each and medals for the 5th – 8th placing winners. In 5th – 8th places were War’s 15 Master Roshi , Thunder Croc , Kapas AK 69 , War’s 15 Bezeta respectively.
In addition, there were also consolation medals for the darters in 9th – 16th place in the double category, which were won by Classic Oldskool , Ikhwanul Darters , PDCYY Phang , AK 501 , DBull Puma , Jupem 2 , Royal Dragon, Old Skull. Organised by the Riverside Shopping Mall last weekend, the two days (25-26 Nov) event attracted a total of 56 teams to the championship.
