KUCHING: A 34-year-old male car driver from Sungai Maong succumbed to his injuries and died yesterday morning.
Kuan Kuek Hui, the deceased was driving at 5 am towards Jalan Diplomatik to Gersik roundabout when he lost control of his car and slammed into a tree and badly damaging the vehicle. He suffered injuries to his head and face. His sister, a police woman, who was seated at the passenger seat, escaped unhurt.
Supt. Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed the case and said the remains were placed in the Sarawak General Hospital morgue for a post mortem.
