PADAWAN: DSP Merbin Anak Lisa is the new Padawan District Deputy Police chief to succeed DSP Yap Fui Lee who retired in September last year.

The handing over of duty between Acting Padawan Deputy Police chief, ASP Muhamad Rizal Bin Alias and DSP Merbin was held at Padawan District Police Headquarters (IPD), witnessed by Padawan District Police chief, Supt Aidil Bolhassan, yesterday.

Merbin has been with the police force since 1996 and his last post was in the management department of IPD Keningau, Sabah.

“This is my first posting in my home state. My previous postings were in Peninsular and Sabah such as IPD Dang Wangi, IPD Kulai Jaya, IPD Lembah Klang, IPK Bukit Aman, IPD Barat Daya, Penang and IPD Kajang.

“I am very excited, happy and ready to serve here. My motivational words are ‘Let’s Work Together for a Better Future of Sarawak’,” said Merbin who hails from Bau.
