Dzulkafli new 9th Infantry Brigade commander

SIBU: Brigadier-General Dzulkafli Mustafa is the new commander of the 9^th Infantry Brigade Malaysia.

Dzulkafli took over the post as the new commander of the 9^thInfantry Brigade from Brigadier-General Dato Subari Tomo, who has been transferred to Kuching.

First Infantry Division Commander Major-General Datuk Stephen Mundaw witnessed the handing over of duties which was held at the Third Battalion Royal Rangers Regiment Camp in Mile 14 Oya Road here yesterday.

A guard of honour mounted by 18 officers and 223 army personnel was held to bid farewell to Subari and to welcome Dzulkafli.

Meanwhile, the handing of over duties as the chairperson of 9^th Infantry Army Welfare Organisation (BAKAT) was also held at the Bakat House.

Dzulkafli’s wife Norziati Othman took over as chairperson of BAKAT from Subari’s wife, Datin Norlila Ishak.
