“InfraRakyat projects such as roads, drains, waterways and hospitals in our state especially here (Kampung Pinang Jawa) will continue to be developed for the well-being of the people,” he said.

Fadillah made the statement at the closing ceremony of Rindok Ati Ke Tupong Carnival at Gita Community Hall, Kampung Pinang Jawa yesterday. He said the government would always provide InfraRakyat projects as an effort to further improve the harmony and unity among the community.

Meanwhile, Fadillah lauded BN’s Manisfesto announced by Prime Minister Dato ‘Seri Najib Razak on Sunday night as being benefitial and caring for all categories of people in society, ranging from those with low income to those better off.

“The increase in the amount of the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) programme has proven the government’s concern and commitment in looking after the people, including those who are disabled.

“Most importantly, I hope people do not depend on the government, but we must work to find ways to leverage the support so that we can find opportunities for learning and employment that will bring the community to contribute to the  nation’s development,” he explained.

Hence, Fadillah called on the people to always support the government in the effort to create positive returns to them.

Meanwhile, Fadillah praised the efforts of the two-day programme to become a platform to foster a neighbourhood spirit among local community members.
