KUCHING: Stormy weather caused a big tree to fall on the road and hit two vehicles passing by on Monday morning at about 7 am in Kuching.
Drivers of the two vehicle and their other passengers could not get away on time. The tree also landed in the midde of the road making it impassable by vehicles.
Fire and Rescue Services personnel rushed to the scene to cut out the branches while the injured persons were sent to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for treatment. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
