KUCHING: The festive mood prevailed during the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Gawai Raya 2018 celebration held at the old State Legislative Assembly Complex, Petrajaya here, yesterday.
The celebration was officiated at by Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.
Also present were TYT’s wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib, Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Johari Tun Openg his wife Datin Patinggi Datuk Hajah Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, other ministers and their wives.
The exchange of souvenirs was held immediately after the launching ceremony.
The guests then visited the food and beverage stalls set up, before they proceed to their tables for lunch.
During the celebration, the guests were entertained with Gawai and Hari Raya songs.
