KUCHING: Four houses in a row at Lorong 2, Taman Hui Sing here were razed by fire at 1pm yesterday. Two houses were damaged 80 per cent while one was damaged 30 per cent and the other 10 per cent damage. One of the houses was occupied by seven while the other has nine occupants.
Firefighters from Tabuna Jaya Fire Station rushed to the scene to douse the fire and to prevent it from spreading to other houses in the row.
The fire was completely put out at 2.50 pm. The Fire Department is still investigating the cause and losses incurred in the fire.
