MIRI: Firemen led by PBK II Rorudi Bin Umas rushed to a double-storey house at Taman Lopeng Jaya here after receiving an emergency call at about 9.18am last Monday.
At the scene, the firemen found a room, measuring five feet wide and eight feet long, used for storing books in the house was already 70 per cent destroyed by the fire.
The firemen successfully put out the fire at 9.45am. No lives were lost in the incident.
