Five wanted by Sri Aman police

SRI AMAN: Sri Aman Police District headquarters is currently tracking five men suspected of involving in a series of crime cases since 2009.

Sri Aman Criminal Investigation Department head, ASP Ang Tuan Peck said the five suspects were identified as Norman Sim Lek Siang, Ringkai ak Endawie, Taqiyuddin Abdullah, Awangku Kusmandiria Awang Iberahim and Juwanda Ranu Suut.

“Norman Sim, 40, from Kampung Sri Wangi, Jalan Kejatau, Sri Aman is wanted by police to assist in the investigation of criminal intimidation case, under Section 506 of the Penal Code, which was committed in 2010.

“Ringkai ak Endawie, 31, from Taman Samar Indah, Kota Samarahan is wanted to assist in the theft of a taxi in April. The case is being investigated under Sections 394 and 379 of the Penal Code,” said Ang.

Meanwhile, Taqiyuddin Abdullah, 29, from Kampung Hilir, Sri Aman is wanted to assist in an investigation under Section 380 of the Penal Code into theft and housebreaking cases in 2014.

Awangku Kusmandiria, 41, from Kampung Melayu, Engkilili is wanted under Section 379A of the Penal Code to assist in the investigation into a vehicle theft committed in 2016.

“Juwanda bin Ranu Suut, 52, is wanted by police to assist in the investigation into a rape case committed on 23 July, 2009 and investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code.

“Therefore, members of the public who know the whereabouts of any of these five suspects are advised to contact the investigating officers Sergeant Andrew at 013-8004243 or Sergeant Ariffin at 019-8299786,” said Ang.
