BETONG: Four students who excelled in the 2016 SPM have received a laptop each.
They are Nasharina Sardi (SMK Spaoh), Dayang Atiqah Abang Sipuddin (SMK Saint Augustine Betong), Haslinda Annuar (SMK Beladin) and Sharmaine Daphe Sylvester Bakar (SMK Ulu Layar).
The laptops donated by Layar assemblyman Gerald Rentap Jabu were handed over to the recipients by a deputy chief minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at a pre Gawai Dayak dinner held at Dewan Sukan Tan Sri Datuk Amar Stephen Ningkan on Saturday.
Fifty-one students in Betong division also received incentives as recognition of their outstanding results in last year’s public examinations.
