KUCHING: Padawan district police, Narcotic Section arrested four suspects said to be dealing in drugs yesterday afternoon at about 1.30pm.
Padawan police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said acting on information received, the police raided a house at Jalan Kuching/Serian Road and arrested four persons aged between 40 and 58.
Police found one (1) plastic bag believed to contain syabu weighing 0.52 grams. Further checks found drugs in straw tube in a black metal container and sembonia black bag.
They also recovered drugs placed in two transparent red plastic bags and four white transparent glossy plastic packets all believed to be syabu. Total weight of those packets came up to 5.75 grams.
All the seized items were to be used for exhibits.
The suspects would be charged under Section 39A(1), and Section 12 (2) as well as Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
They were all found positive for drugs.
