KUCHING: The road from Padang Merdeka to the traffic light in front of RTM at Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg here will be totally closed to the public on July 8, 2018 from 10pm to 5am.
In a press statement issued here yesterday, the State Public Works Department (JKR) said that the road closure is done to facilitate the demolition work of the existing pedestrian bridge across the road.
Road users are advised to adhere to all the temporary traffic guidance and safety signs when travelling along the highlighted area.
