KUCHING: The 77th Birthday Celebration of former Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu Numpang last Thursday night was really a grand celebration deserving of his leadership and the figure 77. Held at the posh Imperial Hotel here, the big event was attended by Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud and Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Datuk Abang Openg.
The celebration which was organised by his son Gerald Rentap Jabu, who is also Layar Assemblyman also saw the attendance of Head of State’s wife, Datuk Patinggi Toh Puan Ragad Kurdi Taib and Chief Minister’s wife Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.
