BINTULU: Members of the public who have not visited Naim Bintulu Paragon’s Chinese New Year (CNY) Bazaar are invited to do so before it closes on Feb 3.
Naim Group of Companies regional general manager for Bintulu Abang Mahathir Mohamed said the bazaar, which started on Jan 25, is part of the group’s community engagement activities this year.
It is also to provide a platform for Bintulu entrepreneurs to generate some income, he added.
“Besides featuring stalls offering an array of Chinese New Year related goodies, we are organised a series of fun activities such as Zumba, colouring contest, drum performances and many more.
“We will also be featuring fun Zumba sessions and an exciting lion dance and Chinese orchestra performances tomorrow and the next day. So do join us for a fabulous time!” he said.
Abang Mahathir invited all to enjoy the sight of the beautifully decorated Naim Street Mall, which has been given a “spring feel with beautiful cherry blossoms and lanterns hung in all the right places”.
The highlight of the bazaar will be a “live” concert featuring popular Malaysian artistes Regine Tan, Jin Long, Kim and Yee Yee on Feb 7. Show will start at 2pm.
Throughout the bazaar, visitors will have the opportunity to view Naim’s ‘The Peak’ condominium’s Recreations Deck, which will be unveiled on Feb 7 as well, starting from 10am.
‘The unveiling of our Recreations Deck is a much awaited event. Now, you can see for yourself how Naim ‘The Peak’ can add value to your lifestyles. In addition, visitors will be entertained with an array of exciting activities such as lion dance performances, lucky draws, special appearance by ‘God of Fortune’ and many more,” Abang Mahathir said.
