S’wak all out to collect points in Pahang today

KUCHING: Acting head coach of Sarawak squad, Pengiran Bala admitted that a heavy task await his players to collect any points against Pahang for the Super League 2017 campaign at Stadium Darul Makmur today.

Pengiran said it is necessary for him to prepare a strategy and a careful planning to ensure the mission of winning points in this weekend’s match.

“From the analysis we’ve made, Pahang upfront are very powerful and for that we should be more cautious.

“In other words, it is necessary for me to tighten the defence department so that Pahang will have no room to score,” said Pengiran  yesterday.

According to Pengiran, there is a slight weakness in the team’s defence machinery to face the ‘Tok Gajah’ squad because of the absence of team captain (Ronny Harun) will not be playing because of injury.

However, added Pengiran, with the existing line-up he is optimistic that the problem can be overcome.
