KUCHING: A teenager working at a convenience store in Semariang near here lodged a police report that his house at Cahaya Mata, Semariang was broken into via the back door.
Upon checking he discovered that his laptop, sunglasses and computer games missing with an estimated total loss of RM1,330.
In an unrelated case, a 24-year-old welder claimed in his police report that when he heard noises coming from his house he was shocked to find three persons in the house.
One of the three intruders then tried to strangle him while another tried to beat him with an iron rod.
When the trio demanded money from him, he gave them RM80. They also took away electrical appliances from the house before they left.
