Indonesian worker injured in fall

by connie chieng KUCHING: A 22-year-old Indonesian man fell from the third floor of a building under construction at Semariang near here at about 1.30 pm, yesterday. The man was working when he missed a step on a plank and fell down. He sustained serious injuries on his body and left arm. His colleagues who were working nearby said they heard a loud thud and rushed to see what had happened. They were shocked to see the victim lying on the ground. The injured worker was later taken to Sarawak General Hospital in an ambulance. He is being warded for treatment and observation.
The injured worker being wheeled to the Emergency and Trauma (E&T) Department of the Sarawak General Hospital.
