KUCHING: The state Barisan Nasional (BN) is aiming to win 28 parliamentary seats in the coming 14th General Election (GE14), an additional three seats from the last election.

According to the Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Openg, he as the leader of the state BN is hoping to win big in the GE14 and also take back the lost seats from the opposition.

He told this at the launching of Barisan Nasional Youth GE14 Machinery at Padang Salpas in Jalan Muhibbah here yesterday.

He also noted that Sarawakians know what they are going to do and can walk together with the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

“We will transform Sarawak and God willing, Sarawak will become the most developed state in the country by 2030,” said Johari.

Meanwhile, PBB Youth chief, Gerald Rentap Jabu said the PBB Youth is supporting the Chief Minister’s policy and approach through the digital economy to bring Sarawak towards digital era.

“The digital economy transformation which has become the pillar for the state’s development policy under the leadership of Johari will provide us with opportunities, increasing our socio-economic and incomes.

“We trust the BN leadership led by Najib Razak, which has agreed to give back the Sarawak’s rights that have been eroded,” Gerald pointed out.
