KUCHING: A group of kind hearted people calling themselves Kelly Group, led by Kelly Lau donated 300 boxes of biscuits and 300 boxes of noodles to Hope Place recently. On hand to receive the donations was Hope founder Kelvin Wan who expressed his sincere gratitude to the Kelly Group for their effort.

Hope Place is an NGO that visits the poor and less fortunate families to contribute some essential food items like rice, cooking oil, sugar, salt, biscuits, and noodles.

The families on Hope’s recipients list barely earn enough to survive hence, they are grateful to receive assistance of those basic necessities. For families with special needs children, elderly or disabled people, Hope provides milk powder, oat and diapers as well.

Because of the many families on its recipient list, Hope carries out aid deliveries once every two months. Currently, it supports more than 180 families. For more information on how you can help, Hope Place can be reached at 013-5672775 (hotline), 082-683378 (office) from 8.30am- 12 noon and 2pm-5pm (Mondays to Fridays), and 9am-12 noon (Saturdays).
