KAPIT: The Youth Wing of Kapit Kwang Tung Association yesterday donated RM5,400 to the family of the late Phang Chee Song who drowned after falling into the Rajang River at Kapit Express Passenger Terminal on 28 May.
At a simple handing over of the donation ceremony at Kapit Riverfront, Youth Wing chief, Chia Weng Kwong presented the cash to Phang’s wife, Madam Loh.
Also present were the Kapit Member of Parliament, Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi and Bukit Goram state assemblyman, Jeffersom Jamit Unyat.
