KWKPK comes up with Strategic Plan 2018

KUCHING: The Mini s t r y of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development (KWKPK) has come up with its Strategic Plan 2018. Its Minister Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah disclosed yesterday the Strategic Plan is to ensure that whatever programme and activities to be done, carried and implemented next year will be in line with the function and trust given to the Ministry.

“For three days our staff have been working on these and today they have presented to us the functions and the Strategic Plan and how we are going to implement them and how we are going to measure the success of what we have planned strategically in term of the outcome and this will be place under our KPI,” she disclosed at a press conference at Hilton Hotel Kuching here yesterday.

“I am proud of what our staff have done headed by our permanent secretary. This will provide for us a very clear way forward of what we need to do and how we are going to achieve and implement it and which agencies we need to work with and how do we measure the success of what we have identified as our objectives and strategic plans,” she said.

“After this we are going to present this Strategic Plan to our Chief Minister to get his endorsement so that we are on the right track with what he wants us to do. “For example there may be something that need to be added or enhanced. So we would to have his advice on this matter,” she added.
